ABOUT OUR ROLLER DOORS
Here at Stylish Roller Doors we strive for the best in our finished products. That’s why we offer a limited 5 year warranty on our roller doors compared to the minimum 12 months some other manufactures give.
Our roller doors are aluminium twin skin profiled with compressed foam in the middle. This is to give the roller door some insulation. Our guides that the roller door slides up and down in has a fir strip. The fir strip acts as a draught minimiser and also allows for smoother running operation of the doors.
SUPPLY OF OUR DOORS
We supply all our roller doors with a full hood and cover. This covers the roller door when the door is open so it is aesthetically pleasing. Moreover, this also reduces the risk of finger entrapment. The motors that operate the door are tube motors and these are concealed within the shaft.
Each door comes with a safety brake. The way a safety brake works is that in the unlikely event that your motor should ever fail this safety brake would jump into action and stop the door from dropping to the ground.
SAFETY EDGE KIT
All doors that are supplied with remote controls will come with our safety edge kit. This works by optical beam being hidden with a bottom rubber seal. When this optical beam is broken by an obstruction the door will stop and retract back up, therefore removing itself from the obstruction.
The bottom rubber seal also helps to reduce weather ingress. Please note that if your floor isn’t level then the rubber seal will be unable to work to its fullest potential.
RECEIVER UNITS
Our Bespoke made roller doors come with a receiver unit which is situated on the wall inside the garage. the receiver unit comes with a courtesy light which stays on roughly for 1 to 2 minutes. This also comes with up / stop / down operational buttons.
In the unlikely event of a power cut, you need not worry, as we supply all our doors with a standard emergency hand-wind so that you can still get into the garage.
(If you do not have any other way into the garage other than the garage door itself you would need to select the external override kit which is lockable from the outside.)
